Established - 2025
Flynn’s Delicatessen was dreamt out a simple love of great food and a desire to share it with others. Chris Flynn, our founder, has always been captivated by the idea that good food brings people together. Chris has spent his life learning about those who bring high quality products to our tables- at farmers’ markets, bakeries, butchers, and beyond- soaking up the stories behind each ingredient.
Chris’s dream was to create a place that made high-quality, local food accessible to everyone, not just to those in bustling capital cities and large town centres. He wanted to bring that same excitement he felt at those markets to neighbourhoods all over the UK, where anyone could step in, find something fresh, and leave inspired.
In 2025, Flynn’s Delicatessen opened a small deli in Swansea, with a mission to make local food a little closer to home. With a genuine respect for the people who grow, raise, and craft these ingredients, Chris has built a deli that’s grounded in quality, warmth, and community spirit. We’ve spent countless hours selecting the best products from local suppliers (many of whom we’ve personally been buying from for years) who share his passion for sustainable, honest food, and you’ll find that personal touch in every part of Flynn’s—from the meats we butcher in-store to the cheeses we source from nearby farms.
Chris’s vision for Flynn’s is simple: to share the best of what’s local and fresh, and to create a space where everyone feels welcome. Here at Flynn’s Delicatessen, we’re excited to bring you the food we love, from our community to yours.

Gorgeous cafe with the finest ingredients on offer, a top tier selection of cured meats and cheeses from around the world. I had a lovely and reasonably priced coffee and deli sandwich which was freshly made. It’s a big yes from me!
Popped in today with my wife for a look, and ended up grabbing an impromptu lunch. The food was spot on and the staff we all extremely friendly. Such a nice change to pop into somewhere and fee that the staff are actually happy to serve you!
