A serious, age-worthy Muscadet from the Clisson cru, grown on classic granite terroir on the left bank of the Maine. This is not your simple “oyster wine” (though it’s brilliant with seafood) — it’s a deeper, more structured style, patiently matured in tank and kept on its lees for over four years to build texture, complexity and length.

In the glass, it’s golden with a generous, mineral core and notes that lean towards stewed fruit and quince alongside ripe citrus. Powerful, savoury and beautifully food-friendly, it’s ideal with scallops, marinated fish, seafood platters, or poultry in a cream sauce. It also has the structure to cellar happily — a great bottle for anyone who thinks Muscadet can’t be serious.
