Pressed from non-GMO soybeans grown in the fertile soil of Kaohsiung, Southern Taiwan, this premium soy sauce is made using heritage wheat naturally low in gluten. The soybeans are sown in September, harvested in December, and rotated with other crops to enrich the soil. After harvest, the beans are frozen to preserve freshness and pressed to order.

Unlike most commercially produced soy sauce, which is often extracted from soybean husks and pressed multiple times, Poon’s Premium First Extract Soy Sauce is pressed only once — the equivalent of extra virgin, single-varietal, cold-pressed olive oil. Fermented naturally without chemical catalysts or acceleration, it delivers exceptional depth of flavour, perfect for both cooking and dipping.
