A deep ruby red from Puglia, made with Nero di Troia — one of southern Italy’s distinctive native red grapes. Expect intense aromas of blackberries, plums and floral hints of violet, followed by dark cherry, subtle spice and soft tannins on the palate.

Structured but smooth, this is a brilliant food wine for grilled red meats, aged cheeses, pasta dishes with rich tomato-based sauces and roasted game. A lovely alternative for customers who enjoy southern Italian reds but want something a little more savoury and structured than Primitivo.
