An Australian Chardonnay from Kirkton Estate in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. Richer and rounder in style, it brings classic Chardonnay notes of butter, oak and ripe orchard fruit, with apple, pear, grapefruit and a little honeyed depth.
A good bottle for roast chicken, pork, creamy pasta, vegetarian dishes, salmon, tuna or richer fish dishes. Chill it, but not too cold — this is one to let open up a little in the glass.
