A classic, crowd-pleasing washed Colombian with that comforting nutty-and-chocolate backbone, lifted by a bright, clean acidity. Smooth and versatile, this is the sort of coffee that works brilliantly whether you’re pulling espresso or brewing filter.

This lot marks Ffilter’s first direct relationship with a producer. Santiago introduced us to his family’s coffee while visiting Swansea, and this Castillo comes from a group of small farms across Antioquia, Colombia. These 2–5 hectare plots sit high at 1,700–2,000 masl, where careful hand-picking and meticulous washed processing helps keep the cup crisp, sweet, and properly clean.

Expect a medium body with chocolate, hazelnut and caramel sweetness, plus a gentle panela note and a little extra brightness from the roast profile.
