EVENT: Supper Club at Flynn’s | A Taste of Québec, Wed 11th November 6pm

This November, our Supper Club takes us to Québec — a place shaped by long winters, French traditions and food designed to warm the table.

Forget the lumberjack clichés and maple syrup poured over absolutely everything. We're exploring the generous, deeply comforting cooking of French Canada, where good ingredients, slow cooking and hearty dishes are very much the order of the day.

As always at Flynn's, expect a relaxed evening, brilliant produce and food you'd happily share around a big kitchen table.

The Menu

To Begin

Warm Québec-style beer and rye bread

Starter

French-Canadian yellow pea soup

Main Course

Traditional beef and pork tourtière pie, served with proper poutine (yes, with squeaky cheese curds!), seasonal greens and mushroom gravy.

Vegetarian alternative: Mushroom, lentil and chestnut tourtière pie, served with poutine, seasonal greens and mushroom gravy.

Dessert

Pouding chômeur – a warm maple sponge pudding served with vanilla ice cream and toasted pecans.

The Details

Tickets are £32 per person, including all four courses.

Dinner begins at 6pm, with drinks available to purchase throughout the evening.

Our Supper Clubs are all about discovering the food and traditions of different places, without the fuss or formality. Come hungry, bring good company and leave the cooking to us.

Booking is essential, as places are limited.
