Join us at Flynn’s for Bohemian Woods and Fields, a relaxed Central European wine tasting exploring wines with freshness, texture, character and a proper sense of place.

This tasting looks beyond the usual French, Spanish and Italian shelves and heads into the vineyards of Central Europe — think Austria, Hungary and neighbouring regions where brilliant, food-friendly wines are being made with real energy. Expect crisp whites, aromatic grapes, elegant reds, mineral styles and autumn-friendly bottles that feel perfect with cheese, charcuterie, pork, mushrooms, pickles and richer seasonal cooking.

We’ll taste through a hand-picked selection of wines and talk about what makes this part of Europe so exciting: cool-climate freshness, old grape varieties, traditional food cultures and bottles that deserve a bigger place on British tables.

As always, this is a Flynn’s tasting: relaxed, welcoming and useful. No expert knowledge needed — just curiosity, a glass, and a willingness to discover something new.
