A rich and intense Spanish red from Somontano in Aragón, made from Tempranillo and Merlot. Full of berries, blackberries, cherries, strawberry caramel and liquorice, with soft rounded tannins, fresh acidity and a creamy, lactic finish.
Made to sit happily beside tapas, this is brilliant with cod croquettes, black pudding, black rice, cold fish dishes, pasta, chorizo, grilled meats or a table full of picky bits. Youthful, flavourful and very easy to imagine with a plate of something salty.
