Daveiga Mariñeiras Clásicas, with butter

Once baked to endure long sea voyages from the windswept coast of Galicia, these traditional biscuits are now made to be savoured, not stored. Light, crisp, and enriched with real butter, they offer a delicate snap and a gently savoury flavour that makes them far more than a cracker.

Still produced in Galicia using time-honoured methods, they’re perfect with cheese, pâté, anchovies, or a slathering of peanut butter. Subtle, sturdy and satisfying—just as a good biscuit should be.

Serving suggestion: Enjoy with soft cheeses and quince paste, or dip into hot soup for a rustic snack.
